For the first time in the history of KMTI, we held a three-day seminar for the bishops. This successful seminar offered a time of learning, encouragement, spiritual growth, and a new commitment to service. The seminar brought together bishops from different parts of Kenya and Uganda, all united by a desire to grow in knowledge, faith, and ministry effectiveness. Throughout the inspiring sessions, the bishops were richly equipped through sound teachings, practical and interactive discussions, and meaningful fellowship with each other during breaks and evening times. The atmosphere was inspiring, and many of the bishops testified that they were challenged and strengthened in their faith to serve the Lord.

The seminar was not just an event, but it was a season of transformation. The lives of these precious leaders were impacted with fresh insight for effective ministry from our three speakers. Many testified that they received a clear sense of purpose, deeper biblical understanding of their roles, and fresh motivation to impact their churches and communities for the glory of God.

I believe this was a worthy investment because when a bishop is trained, the impact reaches beyond one individual. It strengthens the churches, nurtures believers, and brings lasting transformation to communities. The forty-seven bishops that attended the seminar are in charge of 800 local churches in South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and DRC Congo, representing over 45,000 members. This is so amazing.

I want to sincerely thank our speakers—Dr. Mike McCarty, Pastor Danny Williams, and Pastor Elijah Freidman—for creating time out of their busy schedules to come and equip these hungry leaders. I also want to share that I appreciate the bishops who left their flocks to come and be equipped. As we celebrate what God has done, we look forward with expectation to future opportunities for more training. Thanks for being a part of the KMTI family.
